About The Owner

Currently, I’m the owner/operations manager of the Lanier County Network. But more about that in a moment. First, I would like to tell you a little about me and my background.

I have a diploma in Web Design & Development and also Computer Support Specialist. But long before I started college, I was already using computers and building websites. Here is my story.

I built my first website many years ago in my one bedroom apartment, in which my home office was my living room.

I’ve always had a fascination with technology. Mom always got after me a lot for always being in front of a computer instead of doing something more productive with my time.

That first website was for an internet radio station which I also ran from my one bedroom apartment. I had set it up on the kitchen table, which was never used to eat on because I was always in my office. Most times even when I ate.

I started working in radio a few years after high school. In 2002, I launched my first internet radio station called “The Bomb – Today’s Best Music.” I also built the website for that radio station as I mention earlier.

In 2006, I went to work at the TalkStar Radio Network, based in White Springs, FL., which offered syndicated talk radio programming to FM & AM radio stations. During my time there, I was a show producer for many different shows, one of them a very widely known show called The X-Zone. The host lived in Canada and we used technology to get his audio from there to the control room in Florida. I also kept the website for the network up to date. At this time, however, the network is no longer in operation.

In 2009, I started my first semester of tech school for Web Design & Development and also Computer Support Specialist. At this point, I had already been building websites and fixing computers for many years, however, I decided that if I was going to better myself, I would need to get that piece of paper (called a Diploma) that has my name on it and says I know something about web design and computers.

In 2010 during my second year, I started Lakehouse Web Design. At this point, I started using WordPress to build nearly every website I worked on.

In 2012, I started my second internet radio station, Talk 105, geared towards the local community where I live. That station later got a name change and along with it, a format change to Top 40 hits.

I’m also a hobbyist software programmer. I’ve made several windows programs including a radio station automation program which was used to run Talk 105. I’ve since updated the program and it is now being used to operate the LCN 24/7 channel.

Currently, I own and operate the Lanier County Network. A local media company with internet TV and a news website. We stream both live & pre-recorded events, the local high school sports games, and the LC Coaches Show.

I love sunshine, so in my spare time, you can find me at the beach, by the pool or the patio.
